An Overview

A high-quality eye examination includes visual acuity testing, determination of any refractive errors, and a slit-lamp examination of the eye. Once a year, a retinal examination with medically dilated pupils should also be performed—please note that driving is not permitted for several hours afterward.

The Dirisamer Luft Priglinger clinics are equipped with the most advanced diagnostic technology. This includes corneal diagnostics using the Pentacam® HR and the Atlas® wavefront analyzer from Zeiss®, biometric eye measurements with the IOL Master from Zeiss®, glaucoma diagnostics through visual field testing and OCT imaging (Cirrus, Zeiss®), endothelial cell count analysis (Nidek®), as well as retinal and macular diagnostics with the Cirrus OCT (Zeiss®). All services required for a driver’s license medical certificate are also offered.
